Hounds & Bones began the way the best things do: quietly, at home, and with a kind of love that doesn’t ask permission.

It started with our dogs—our daily companions, our shadows, our comfort and our comic relief—moving through the rhythms of a life built on old Virgina farm with its simple, enduring things: early mornings, worn-in leather, old boards underfoot, and the calm beauty of the countryside. We kept noticing the same problem: the pieces our dogs wore every day were either mass-produced and disposable, and we struggled to find the quality and timeless style we love.

So, we decided to make the essentials properly.
